Washington Annual Conference

The Washington Annual Conference is in full swing! We had a glorious Night In White with our own Dr. Pam DeVeaux bringing forth a powerful message. The Ebenezer AME Church Liturgical Dance team blessed all with a moving display of God's love and grace through dance. We are so proud of the dedicated missionary service that is being carried out at our churches and community throughout the 2nd Episcopal District.

On Wednesday April 24, 2013 the Washington Annual Conference celebrated Men's Night. What a marvelous time we had in the Lord!! The choir brought the congregation to its feet with stirring renditions of gospel songs. Rev. Tony Lee, Senior Pastor of the Community of Hope AME Church delivered a powerful sermon and challenged our men to "step up" and reminded all that your "here" is not your "there". The altar was full of men when the call was made for those who feel a ministerial call on their life. Bishop DeVeaux congratulated all the Men of the Year and Young Men of the Year recipients as they received their certificates. We are so proud of the work that our talented men are doing in the 2nd Episcopal District!

Bishop John R. Bryant, Senior Bishop blessed the congregation with a mighty word for our closing service.

What an awesome time we had preaching, praising and proclaiming! Thanks be to God!
