Thank You Jesus Moments (TYJ)
What is a Thank You Jesus (TYJ) moment? A thank you Jesus moment occurs in life when Jesus steps in to change a situation. You can call it an answer to a problem, a way out of no way or divine intervention. The thank you Jesus moment could be simple and uncomplicated but it could also be an awe inspiring, jaw dropping, hallelujah time that manifests the power of Jesus!

Thank you Jesus moments occur in answer to fervent prayers but sometimes and many times a thank you Jesus moment comes through the grace of God.

We invite you--the readers of this blog to share your instance of a Thank You Jesus moment to be included in a volume of inspirational writings. If you wish to remain anonymous that's alright and we will respect your wishes. Your story will encourage and inspire someone who may be "going through". Submissions should be in by September 30, 2014

Thank you LORD!! The wonderful women of the 2nd Episcopal District WMS had a blessed experience at our recent Leadership training in Hampton,VA.
Dr. Pam with 2015 WMS Quadrennial elected delegates and alternates

First AME-Gaithersburg

What a wonderful celebration for Pastors Barbara and Marvin Glenn on the church's 30th Anniversary. The event was co-chaired by Sister Pervy L. Broady and Reverend A. Ayana Newton. Our 2nd District WMS President, D. Faye Conley directed the awesome choir, featuring a solo by Detra Britt. The anniversary message was delivered by our own Bishop William P. DeVeaux. The sermon entitled "Remembering What God Has Done" was taken from Deuteronomy 8:5-27. Bishop reminded us that we often forget what God has already done, that's why it's important to always say--THANK YOU!

A wonderful service of PRAISE and celebration

D. Faye Conley-local WMS President, Dr. Pam with Pastor Barbara Glenn

While worshipping at Ebenezer A.M.E. church on July 6, 2014 Bishop DeVeaux and Dr. Pam had the pleasure of enjoying a visit from the Black Male Institute sponsored by Edward Waters College, Jacksonville, FL. The program provides mentors and support services for at-risk youth in the Jacksonville area and prepares them for college. Praying for much success for these blessed young men. Amen!
