The Second Episcopal District Bishop of the AME Church, William P. DeVeaux Sr., Presiding Elder Ronald E. Braxton and Pastor William H. Lamar IV invite the Washington Metropolitan community to join them for a prayer vigil at Metropolitan AME Church today Friday June 19, 2015 at 12:00 Noon. The tragedy of the shooting at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC demands that people of faith, civic-minded persons and people who abhor violence come together to pray for the victims and our country. The one hour service will include prayers and music. Metropolitan AME Church is located at 1518 M Street, NW, Washington, DC. The public is invited.
