Mother's Day Poem

Four years ago when she was nine years old, my granddaughter wrote this poem. As we approach Mother's Day 2014, I share it with mothers--biological and surrogate everywhere.
 

You Are My Everything

 

You are my sunshine

You are my glory

You are my sweetness

You are my story

You are my love

You are beautiful as a dove

When I think of you,

It makes me want to sing

You are my everything!
