Duhart-Clark Missionary Society of St. Paul AME Chapel Hill NC Observes
Annual Missionary Day
  
St. Paul AME Church, Chapel Hill, North Carolina is celebrating 150 years of abiding in the vine.  The Duhart-Clark Missionary Society observed their Annual Missionary Day as a part of the celebration.  Episcopal President D. Faye Conley was the messenger for the 11:00 a.m. worship service.  Pastor Thomas Oneal Nixon, local WMS President Carlotta Armstrong-Young and members welcomed President Conley and a host of missionaries from across the Western North Carolina Conference.
 
In attendance were: SEDWMS Assistant Recording Secretary Jacqueline Conley Kanipe; WNCC Officers: President Nikki Walker Lyons, YPD Director Alice Hillman accompanied by Brother Tommy Hillman, Third Vice President Diane Tawwab, PME Director Bettie Duell, and Parliamentarian Regina Melvin; Minnie Pearson Officers: Area Chairperson Linda Glover, First Vice Chairperson Beverly Hester-Stephens, Historiographer/Statistician Kathleen Yarbor; Former Conference Branch Presidents Shirley J. Sheares and Everlena Diggs; immediate past SEDWMS Corresponding Secretary Azzie Conley, Former WNCC Treasurer Shirley Smith, Emmanuel AME Local President Sandra Jackson, Associate Missionary Kenneth Woods and others from White Rock AME Church, St. Paul AME Church (Raleigh) Local President Carol Davenport and Gerald Logan (St. Josephs AME Church).
