We are so proud of Ms. Dorcas Hart who is our 2013 Dorcas Extravaganza winner!! Ms. Hart attends Reid Temple AME Church, where Dr. Lee P. Washington is her pastor. She represents the Washington Conference, where Reverend Goodwin Douglas serves as presiding elder.
Dorcas, also called Tabitha, is a New Testament woman of the Bible. You will find her story in the book of Acts, chapter 9 verses 36 to 42. She was a godly woman who was loved and well respected in the Christian community of Joppa.
