NC Conference Lay Witness Night

Lay Witness Night and Installation Service presided over by Sister Bernetta Ghist, NCCLO Director of Lay Activities hosted a celebration of service to Bishop & Dr. PAM. The service included a praise dance by 4 Your Glory-St. James AME-Castle Hayne, NC, dramatization by Sister Marie Williams, Mt. Moriah AME-Rocky Point, NC and a closing duet rendition of "When Peace Like A River" by Reverends Abdue Knox and Wayne Johnson. The night concluded with the installation of 2016-2017 NCCLO officers by Bishop DeVeaux.

NC WMS Night in White

The North Carolina WMS presented 6 new missionaries for capping and  2 new associates for pinning. Thanks be to God for the increase. Keep up the great work!!!

North Carolina Annual Conference WMS

The North Carolina Conference Women's Missionary Society celebrated with a refreshing service with Rev. Betty Strickland, Senior Pastor, St. John AME-Hampstead, NC. The scripture was Luke 8:43 with the message- "Press Your Way Through the Mess."  Don't sit back and let someone do the work, it's your time--keep pressing!

North Carolina WMS Tribute Luncheon

The North Carolina WMS honored Sister Annette Dockery for her 8 years of service as YPD Director. We are so appreciative of her hard work and dedication to kingdom building!

VA Annual Conference Closing/Ordination Service

The dynamic closing service sermon was delivered by Rev. Dr. James F. Miller, Senior Pastor, DuPage AME Church, Lisle, Illinois. His message was taken from Mark 3:1-4 on the subject- "Where is the Stewardship Legislation?" Is it lawful to do good?  More emphasis should be placed on running for Jesus than running for an office.  Take your faith journey because the "calling" takes precedence.  The service concluded with the ordination and consecration of one new local deacon and four itinerant deacons.
