Richard Allen Statue Unveiling
We have had a marvelous time in Philadelphia at the 50th Session of the General Conference. We participated in a Torch Run- an eighty mile run originating in Richard Allen's birthplace- Dover, Delaware and ending at Mother Bethel AME in Philadelphia. The theme of the run was "Finish the Fight: Let's Run For It". Runners from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Episcopal districts ran carrying the torch. The historic day ended with the Richard Allen Statue unveiling on the grounds of Mother Bethel!
Richard Allen Mural Unveiling
The unveiling of the Richard Allen mural on the east wall of the 1st Episcopal District Headquarters-3801 Market Street, Philadelphia. Mural artist Willis Humphrey did our founding father and the entire AME church proud with the support of the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program, former Mayor W. Wilson Goode and the Episcopal team of Bishop Gregory Ingram and Episcopal Supervisor Jessica Ingram. What a BLESSING!!

Missionary/YPD Day-Brookins Faith Temple
Dr. PAM was the guest speaker at Brookins Faith Temple AME, Lanham, MD at their Annual Missionary/YPD Day. Her text was taken from Acts 27:14, 42-44. The sermon subject was "God Blesses Broken Pieces". A storm occurs when the elements come together in the atmosphere at the right time. A storm can often be predicted but can occur without warning. Often times we're caught up in the storm of spiritual warfare but God blesses broken pieces and gives you peace!
