Prayers

Praise the Lord my brothers and sisters in Christ! Happy New Year and may 2015 yield you an abundance of blessings. The Bishop and I thank you for your continuing prayers, love and support.

Today I lift up for your attention the upcoming mission trip to be undertaken by a delegation of fifty persons from the Fourth Episcopal District under the leadership of Supervisor Bryant.  Please pray for them daily as they travel to places where it is illegal to display a Bible.  We pray God's blessing upon these brave mission workers who will be faced with challenges from persons who reject the name of Jesus.  On your behalf the Second Episcopal District WMS will be sending an offering to encourage our courageous brothers and sisters who have taken to heart Psalm 82:3 which says "Defend the poor....do justice to the afflicted and needy."  Across the world today over 100 million persons in 60 countries are being persecuted for claiming and confessing Jesus as their Savior.  Please pray without ceasing that the torture, murders, rape and ungodly treatment of God's children will be stopped! Thank you Lord! AMEN!
